De focus ligt op de realisatie van mediakunst in combinatie met een intensief onderzoek naar sociaal-politieke kwesties. Als tentoonstellings- en productiecentrum voor hedendaagse kunst begeleidt OK Offene Kultuhraus Oberösterreich artistieke werken van idee tot realisatie tot tentoonstelling. De architectonisch verfijnde ambiance van een omgebouwde school vormt het decor voor een ongewoon ruimtelijk en artistiek concept. Het programma richt zich op multimediale groeps- en individuele projecten, meestal van jonge kunstenaars, die vaak actuele maatschappelijke thema's aansnijden. Symposia, kunsteducatie en muziekprogramma's vullen het tentoonstellingsprogramma aan. Met een wisselend tentoonstellingsprogramma, bioscoop en innovatieve gastronomie is het gebied rond de OK Platz een levendige hotspot in het centrum van de hoofdstad.
