De toren van het Landhaus kan worden beklommen tijdens speciale stadsrondleidingen. In het midden van de boogvormige binnenplaats in Italiaanse stijl staat de planetaire fontein die Johannes Kepler herdenkt. Hij gaf 14 jaar les aan de protestantse landschapsschool, die ooit in het gebouw was gehuisvest.
